Dianne Stewart has published both fiction and non-fiction titles and has consulted in a number of
areas, both for adults and children.
She compiled, edited and contributed to a collection of writings about Durban, Durban in a Word
(Penguin) and project managed a Fundza project, where experienced KZN writers were paired with
previously disadvantaged writers to produce an anthology of short stories, It Takes Two (volume 2).
She has also written for and consulted in the area of children’s picture books, as well as
supplementary readers for the educational market.
Dianne has taught the short story and memoir writing at the University of Cape Town summer
school and the Franschhoek Literary Festival, as well as chaired panels of authors.
